Travelogue - Sydney

Sydney happened in July 2014. I'm horribly behind time in updating this space. I've always wanted to visit Sydney, but instead always ended up in other Australian states. So when I finally bought my ticket, I was hyped.

To me, Sydney holds a wonderful balance between the fast paced city life and the slower paced country side. Head to the city's business district and you'll see businessmen in suits walking around, the mandatory cup of coffee in hand. You'll see people of all walks of life hurrying about their daily life.

Spent the first day exploring some of Sydney's more famous sites. There's just something so calming about sipping a cup of hot coffee and staring out at the Sydney Harbour Bridge and then exploring the Opera House.

After that we took a walk at the nearby park. Which was full of lovely trees and people just chilling.

Head on over to the other side of the state and you'll find Bondi Beach and more. There the pace is slightly slower with surfers looking for the next big wave. The beach trails are filled with people walking their dogs and joggers having their daily workout.

If you want nature, mountains and smaller towns are but a train ride away. Newtown is full of hipster shops where you can find posters, accessories and books, and lovely cafes filled with tantalising food.

Nightfall also brings about some of the most gorgeous sunset's and views I've ever seen.

Finally, everyone is ready to help if you need directions or look lost. What's not to love about this state! One day I hope to go back and explore more areas.
