Travelogue - Taiwan, Day 10, A little bit of Feng Jia

Woke up to a beautiful day! The sky was blue, the breeze just right. We didn't have much to do in the morning so we sat around the hotel's courtyard, taking in the sunshine, and enjoying a good read. This was our designated traveling day.

Later that morning, we headed down to Taichung via bus. The journey took a couple of hours.
Upon arriving in Taichung, we had to meander our way around, and find our accommodation. I was pleasantly surprised to find that public transport is free for the first 15km!

We took a little rest from our travels, before heading out to explore Feng Jia Night Market. This is one of the biggest night markets in Taiwan and has an endless variety of food. It's located next to Feng Jia University, making it very popular to both tourist and students alike. There are so many interesting food innovations to try!

As usual, we were too busy eating to take photos. If you're ever in Taichung, this night market is a must! The amount of food there is crazy! Also, Taichung has many cafes. The city is a 'testing ground' for cafe owners. It's been said that if your cafe succeeds in Taichung, it'll succeed in the main city of Taipei. Prices here are much more wallet friendly too in my opinion!
