Travelogue - Taiwan, Day 11 (Taichung)

On the second day in Taichung, we set out to explore the Tung Hai University and the city centre. The highlight was the Luce Memorial Chapel - which was unique because of its architecture. The journey to the university didn't take long, and we got to enjoy some sights along the way. Traveling in Taichung is really easy, because the buses provide the stop names in both English and Chinese. We had a data plan which also came in useful at times.

Tung Hai University is HUGE. We decided to bypass the shuttle bus and explore the area on our own. It took us about an hour of wandering around to locate the chapel. Turns out we entered via the wrong entrance. Food there is extremely cheap though! Cheapest bubble tea ever. And being a very anal bubble tea drinker, I liked the bubble tea they had there!
 Yes, the school has cows.

After exploring the school, we headed back to the city to shop and look for a nice cafe to chill in. We didn't really find much stuff to buy, but I ended up with some knick knacks here and there.
It started to drizzle quite heavily so we hid in a random cafe, enjoying some afternoon snacks.

And later that night, we headed back to Feng Jia Night Market to finish exploring the place!
