Titans of The Past - Dinosaurs and Ice Age Mammals

A few weekends ago, I decided to hop on down to the Art Science Museum to delve back into prehistoric times. I get geeky sometimes and develop this need to learn about stuff.

I was pleasantly surprised to find such an extensive collection of fossils and paintings. Yes paintings. Of which some astounded me. I found myself staring at works of art, as they seemed so surreal.

I think I spent close to 3 hours, roaming around the basement of the Art Science Museum, relieving my childhood Jurassic Park watching Days. Only to realise later on, to my horror, that must of what I'd seen in the movie was false! This was after vividly reading facts and hypothesis about the dinosaurs that were on display. As my general knowledge increased, my childhood crashed around me.

The exhibition was also really child friendly! There were interactive exhibitions for children to touch and learn. For younger children, there was even a little corner at the end of the exhibition, for them to make dinosaur puppets.

More pictures of what the exhibition has to offer.
One of the paintings that I really liked. It's suppose to represent a valley in between rocks.

Rawr.

Since the weather in Singapore's been exceptionally hot later, spend an afternoon roaming around the cooling comforts of the past.
