Travelogue - Ireland, Cliffs of Moher

Have barely touched my Europe trip for last year and I'm already done with my second trip. Just last week, I found myself in the gorgeous country of Ireland for the last few days. Took a day trip out to the cliffs of moher and was super blessed with good weather. Aka the mo(t)her of all cliffs. Lol

Gardens by the Bay, Tulipmania

Spent the day at Gardens by the Bay Tulipmania reminiscing about the good old days back in the Netherlands. It's sort of become a yearly tradition for my friend and I to go see tulips (which are my favourite flowers).

Travelogue - Venice, Italy

Needless to say, I was brimming with excitement about going to Venice. To ride on a gondola along the many canals, weaving through buildings and under bridges. To get lost in the maze that is Venice, winding through narrow paths and into little alleys. To admire the many masks and costumes, and the breath-taking scenery that this city has to offer. To walk through San Marco Square and admire the rich history of Venice.

Travelogue - Stockholm, Sweden

I visited Stockholm after Kiruna, since I was in the vicinity. Stockholm has a charm, that will captivate you when you least expect it, and grab hold of your heart.

The streets are lined with a mixed of modern and old buildings. Stockholm itself is built on 14 islands that have been connected together via bridges. The stores have interesting window displays that had me chuckling to myself, and advertisements that made the marketing major in me appreciate them for their creativity. While roaming along the streets, I chanced upon an open air market. And oh my, the fresh fruits on sale there, were so tantalizing.

Buds of Spring.

I got a little bored this morning, and decided to superimpose two photos that I took of the view of Maastricht from my room window while on exchange.

It showcases the changing of seasons from Winter to Spring.
And that's just me, with a little too much free time on my hands.

Travelogue - Amsterdam, Netherlands

“Some tourists think Amsterdam is a city of sin, but in truth it is a city of freedom. And in freedom, most people find sin.”

~John Green

Over my exchange period, I went to Amsterdam countless of times. And I still have yet to fully explore the city. I guess because Amsterdam was always just a train ride away, I sort of took it for-granted.
