Travelogue - Prague, Czech Republic

How do I even begin to describe Prague.
The buildings here give off a historical vibe. It feels as though you've travelled a few years back in time. To a time where you could imagine white knights roaming around the streets, the fresh smell of baking bread wafting through the air. Although Prague is full of tourists, it does not feel that way. Yeah, the shopping here is pretty decent too. ;)

A stroll down Prague's Old Town is complete with the horse carriages to match your daydreams. The many quaint cafes make you want to just have some coffee along the sidewalk. One of the must-sees include the clock tower.
Climb up to the bell tower for a majestic view.

Prague has several districts, each with something unique to offer.
Another must see is the Prague Castle. Spend half a day roaming around the grounds, and exploring different areas.

I also happen to be a sucker for rivers, of which Prague has many.
And of course, one of Prague's most iconic landmarks - Charle's Bridge. The design of this bridge is beautiful, especially at dusk when the setting sun starts to cast shadows around the statues that adorn the bridge. We even espied several couples having their wedding shots taken against this beautiful backdrop.

If you are a scenic person, make a trip to Petrin Lookout Tower (the mini Eiffel Tower of Prague). This 63.5m tower overlooks the city. While it may take you a while to scale the structure, the 360degree view is so worth it.

Prague not only has history to offer, it is also home to various interesting artistic exhibits. Prague feels like a melting pot, with so much to offer.

On my last day in Prague, we took time to chill at the riverside, enjoying a cool drink whilst hiding from the scorching sun. Here I am all happy and content (and burnt). Its so lovely to be able to nurse a cold drink, and soak in the sights of the lovely river.

However, do note that beneath the beauty, you do have to take care of your belongings! After going to Prague, I decided to watch Scam City, and was very thankful that I had not previously watched the episode on Prague before I went there. But hey, if you travel safe, and are alert of your surroundings, you'll be fine.
Don't let fear keep you from learning about the world.
