Travelogue - Taiwan, Day 9 (CingJing Farm)

After a night at Sun Moon Lake, we headed further up the mountains to CingJing farmlands. The nice cool weather was a welcomed relief from the hot humidity of Kaohsiung. We took a taxi up to save time! The drive up was scenic, and enjoyable, although I did fall asleep - I'm like that in cars. Once we stepped out of the taxi, it was like stepping into a fairytale. We were surrounded by greenery and clouds. To add to the magic of it all, there were adorable sheep all around, grazing as though they had naught a care in the world.

We took about 3-4 hours to cover the entire farmlands and it rained here and there, forcing us to seek shelter. I love the sheep! It was so calming to just walk around the area, staring at trees and clouds, soaking in the atmosphere.

The farmlands also had other things which you could take photos with - there were miniature windmills and what nots, as well as butterflies and spice areas. Just wander around and visualise photo ops! :)

Definitely a must-go if you go to Taiwan. If you have children, I'm sure they'll love it there. You can feed with sheep with wild grass, if you can't be bother to buy animal feed like me, or grab some animal feed (which in my opinion, the sheep prefer).
Oh-so-dreamy.
